Chapter 6

Before I begin, I hope you guys enjoy this after all that waiting...

Chapter 6

" What did you do?!?!" the man asked me surprisingly.
" Ah, so much better than that other pigstye you called home, isn't it Hank? Can I just call you Hank from now on?"
" No you may not call me Hank!" the man answered faster than he should have.
" Sorry, it's just that my dad's name was Hank, and you remind me of him."
"Really you think so?" his eyes lit up. " In that case, maybe. I'll think about it. And to answer your question about whether or not I like what you did, yes, but I didn't give you permission and maybe I liked the house messy before!"
" House?" I snickered.
He grunted. " Please help me unload the groceries from the back of the car."
" You said please!"
" Well aren't you supposed to have good manners?"
That's what my dad, or, Hank rather, would always say when someone stated that exact sentence! I think I've figured out who this guy is!
" You're my dad's brother!" I blurted out.
" Are you kidding me?!?! I don't even remember what you said you're name was! How could I be you're uncle?"
" My name's Rosalinda, and I never said my name before," I was very suspicious at the moment.
" Oh you know what I meant,"
"Maybe I didn't."
We both galred at each other for a moment or two, and then headed out the door to get the groceries. When we came back in, I checked to see what Hank bought for food. Spinach, protien shake mix, Cheerios, Wheaties, and some other weird grown up dieting, non-sugary, type of foods.
" Hello?! Where are the sweet, sugary, kid's foods?" I asked, more like demanded.
" Well, you said you weren't a kid anymore, you said you were fourteen. So, you have to start eating the healthy foods that I eat. My house, my rules!"
" Just because I'm fourteen doesn't mean I don't still love the nice, sweet, sugary..."
" Snap out of it, kid!"
"Kid foods! I think I should still be able to eat my favorite foods!"
" Up, no can do, Rosalinda, remember, my hou-"
" Your house, your rules, and blah, blah, blah!" I interrupted Hank.
He glared at me viciously.
I could tell, at that very moment, things weren't gonna run smoothly with Hank and I for a long time...
